Soccer Recap: Crescent Comes Up Short

Crescent was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Belton-Honea Path Bears, falling 9-1. Crescent were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Crescent's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Belton-Honea Path, they moved to 2-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Crescent take on Abbeville at 7:00 p.m. on April 7. As for Belton-Honea Path, they will face off against Pendleton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Belton-Honea Path's defense better be ready for this one: Pendleton has averaged an impressive 3.8 goals per game this season.
