Basketball Recap: St. Clair Takes a Loss

St. Clair lost against St. James back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The St. Clair Bulldogs came up short against the St. James Tigers, falling 61-41. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while the Tigers are ranked 59th).

St. Clair dropped their record down to 5-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for St. James, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 19-6 record this season.

St. Clair has already played their next contest (against Salem), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for St. James, they will challenge Camdenton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
