Basketball Recap: Kuemper Comes Up Short

Kuemper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 53-45 to the Shenandoah Mustangs. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Kuemper now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Shenandoah, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kuemper will welcome St. Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Shenandoah will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Nodaway Valley on February 18th.
