Basketball Recap: Chetek-Weyerhaeuser's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Chetek-Weyerhaeuser had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 33-27 win over the Ashland Oredockers on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 47-27 back in December of 2024.

Chetek-Weyerhaeuser's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Ashland, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with the loss, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Chetek-Weyerhaeuser wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-41 defeat against Boyceville on the 4th. Ashland has also already played their next game, a 39-37 win against Antigo on the 4th.
