Softball Recap: Colorado's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

In Tuesday's Canine Competition, Colorado prevailed. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Clyde Bulldogs on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Wolves sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Mia Obenhaus spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Bryanna Munoz, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Wooddell, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Colorado's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Clyde, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-4.

Colorado didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 defeat against Hermleigh on the 1st. As for Clyde, they will welcome Wall at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 3, the Hawks 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
