Basketball Game Preview: Carteret Ramblers vs. Woodbridge Barrons

The Carteret Ramblers will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Woodbridge Barrons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Carteret is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a blow against South Plainfield on Monday, falling 72-34. The Ramblers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Woodbridge came up short against Colonia on Monday, falling 60-40.

Woodbridge now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Carteret, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Carteret couldn't quite finish off Woodbridge in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 and fell 66-64. Can Carteret avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
