Soccer Recap: St. Stephens Falls Short of Lake Norman Charter in the Playoffs

St. Stephens and Lake Norman Charter squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but St. Stephens had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1. If St. Stephens were looking for revenge after losing 9-0 to Lake Norman Charter when the teams met back in May of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Stephens' loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7-4. As for Lake Norman Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-2-2 record this season.
