Fairfax posted their closest win since September 23rd on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Carl Hayden Community Falcons 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Stampede: when they faced off against the Falcons back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Fairfax had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 23-25, 25-22, 25-23, 15-13.

Despite the loss, Carl Hayden Community still got an impressive performance from Estrella Dionisio, who had 11 digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Marlene Lopez, who had six aces and five digs.

The victory made it two in a row for Fairfax and bumps their season record up to 6-11. As for Carl Hayden Community, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Fairfax nor Carl Hayden Community have any future games scheduled.
