Softball Recap: Dripping Springs' Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Dripping Springs entered their tilt with Austin on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Maroons with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Sadie Bradford was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Bradford was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and one double.

In other batting news, Lorelei Gamble was incredible, firing off three home runs and eight RBI while going 3-for-3. What's more, she posted three runs, the most she's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Emma Phillips, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Dripping Springs hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three strikeouts batters in three consecutive matches.

Dripping Springs' record is now 18-6-1. As for Austin, they dropped their record down to 5-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
