Volleyball Recap: Dublin Comes Up Short

Dublin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stephenville FAITH Knights.

Dublin actually scored more points across those five sets (103-92), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 9-25, 18-25, 25-21, 15-13.

Dublin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Stephenville FAITH, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Dublin will welcome Hico at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Stephenville FAITH, they will head out to square off against Azle Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
