Basketball Game Preview: Northwestern Warriors vs. Catholic Central Irish

Northwestern and Catholic Central are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The two teams will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Northwestern is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Northwestern didn't have quite enough to beat Thurgood Marshall and fell 57-55.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Catholic Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 61-47 victory over Madison Plains on Friday.

Catholic Central now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Northwestern, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Northwestern was able to grind out a solid win over Catholic Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 53-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northwestern since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
