Basketball Recap: Hulbert's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Hulbert was the 40-35 winner over Oktaha when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Hulbert Riders fell 61-49 to the Oktaha Tigers on Friday. The Riders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hulbert's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-8. As for Oktaha, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-7.

Hulbert wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-29 victory against Porter on the 18th. As for Oktaha, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Wilson-Henryetta at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th. One thing working in Oktaha's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
