Softball Recap: Northshore Comes Up Short

Northshore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chalmette Owls. Panthers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Owls since on Tuesday.

Northshore's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Chalmette, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

Coming up, Northshore will take on Fisher at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gators have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Chalmette, they will head out on the road to take on Riverdale at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
