Classical had won seven straight games and Eliezer Delbrey did his part to make it eight on Saturday. The Classical Purple came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 74-69 W against the Bloomfield Warhawks thanks to Delbrey, who posted 31 points. His afternoon made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Abdul Evans, who earned 20 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Classical's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Bloomfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 17-4 record this season.

Classical does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bloomfield, they will be playing at home against Bristol Eastern at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bloomfield has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
