Softball Game Preview: Bigelow Panthers vs. Morrilton Devil Dogs

The Bigelow Panthers will challenge the Morrilton Devil Dogs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Bigelow is leaving town to face Morrilton after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Bigelow came up short against Hector on Monday, falling 12-4. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Bigelow saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addyson Jordan, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Morrilton's season-opener on Friday wasn't quite what the team was looking for considering the end result. They and Fayetteville finished up on equal footing with an 8-8 tie.

Bigelow came up short against Morrilton when the teams last played back in March of 2024, falling 8-3. Can Bigelow avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
