Basketball Recap: Lackawanna Comes Up Short

Lackawanna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 66-34 loss at the hands of the Pioneer Panthers. The Steelers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-13.

Lackawanna's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Pioneer, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Coming up, Lackawanna will be playing in front of their home fans against Global Concepts at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pioneer, they will head out on the road to square off against Iroquois at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
