After flying high against Huffman last Friday, Fultondale came back down to earth. The Fultondale Wildcats came up short against the Hanceville Bulldogs on Monday, falling 22-2. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Fultondale has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. Hanceville's victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hanceville beat Fultondale by a score of 20-2 later that day.
