Volleyball Recap: Eagle Academy Comes Up Short

Eagle Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Curtis Warriors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Eagle Academy of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Eagle Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Curtis, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Eagle Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against New Dorp at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Curtis, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against McKee Vo-Tech on the 25th.
