Baseball Recap: West Davidson Sets Scoring Season-High Against Lexington

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Davidson). They blew past the Lexington Yellowjackets 19-1 on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Dragons with their most commanding win of the season.

Tyson Walters spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Josh Ortiz, who scored four runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Levi Berrier, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
