Soccer Game Preview: Mansfield Timberview vs. Everman

The Mansfield Timberview Wolves and the Everman Bulldogs will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Everman will have to contend with a Mansfield Timberview squad hungry for a victory, something the team hasn't seen yet this season. Mansfield Timberview fell just short of Burleson by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Wolves couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Everman waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 9-1 win. Brian Sanchez was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Everman has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those five games. As for Mansfield Timberview, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7-3.
