Soccer Recap: Rancho Cucamonga Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars didn't have quite enough to beat the Etiwanda Eagles and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Cole Spiteri, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Rancho Cucamonga and nudges their season record down to 9-6-3. As for Etiwanda, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3-2 record this season.

Rancho Cucamonga has already played their next matchup, a 2-2 draw against Chino Hills on the 3rd. As for Etiwanda, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Upland on the 3rd.
