Ilwaco strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Raymond/South Bend Ravens a 17-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Fishermen, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Chase Cunningham and Corbin Johnson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Cunningham tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Johnson tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. At bat, Cunningham went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs, while Johnson got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

In other batting news, Ilwaco got a massive performance out of Tyler West, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Brent Curry, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Ilwaco was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .552. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Ilwaco's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Raymond/South Bend, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
