The Kimberly Papermakers will head out on the road to face off against the Monona Grove Silver Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kimberly is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season.

Kimberly barely beat Appleton East the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Papermakers put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 22-5 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Papermakers in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won four in a row.

Jack Anzelmo was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Anzelmo was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run and one double.

In other batting news, Sawyer Deering was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with six RBI, three runs, and one triple. Benny Kieffer was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and four RBI.

Kimberly always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .610. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Monona Grove, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Oregon on Thursday, sneaking past 6-5.

Kimberly's record now sits at 3-1-1. As for Monona Grove, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.
