Caney Valley and Burlington squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Caney Valley had to settle for second. They fell to the Burlington Wildcats 73-67. The Bullpups' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Caney Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Burlington, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-3.

Caney Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Burlington, they will square off against Hesston at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Burlington knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 20 games -- so hopefully Hesston likes a good challenge.
