Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Duplin). Everything went their way against the West Columbus Vikings on Monday as they made off with a 10-1 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for North Duplin as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Their offense was hitting West Columbus from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Jerrson Lopez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

North Duplin's win bumped their record up to 3-8-2. As for West Columbus, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.

North Duplin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Columbus, they will head out on the road to challenge East Bladen at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
