Baseball Recap: Doherty Spartans vs. Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans

After flying high against Liberty last Tuesday, Doherty came back down to earth. The Spartans fell just short of the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans by a score of 7-6 on Thursday. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Jackson Hendrickson put in work no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched.
