Softball Recap: Bismarck Comes Up Short

After flying high against Arcadia Valley on Monday, Bismarck came back down to earth. The Indians lost 14-2 to the Bourbon War Hawks on Tuesday. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bismarck saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Brake, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Bismarck's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Bourbon, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Bismarck will square off against Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Indians' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Bourbon, they will face off against Steelville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
