Trinity Prep had lost three games at home, but after bumping their record up to 2-6 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Saints have posted since April 8, 2025.

Connor Brady was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Isaac Robinson, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly two runs.

On Cornerstone Charter Academy's side, they got a good showing from Alexander Patrizio, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Patrizio has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Tanielu Cox was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. Tyler Rodda was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Prep will welcome Montverde Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Keswick Christian at 6:30 p.m. The Ducks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Crusaders have averaged an impressive 12 runs per game this season.
