Basketball Recap: Lynn Camp Comes Up Short

Lynn Camp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt an 81-43 loss at the hands of the Model Patriots. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-27 back in December of 2024.

Lynn Camp's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Model, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Lynn Camp Wildcats duke it out with the Red Bird Cardinals at 6:30 a.m. on Monday. Lynn Camp is facing Red Bird at the right time seeing as Red Bird is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Model, they will take on Barbourville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Model knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Barbourville likes a good challenge.
