Volleyball Recap: Ord Comes Up Short

Ord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakeview Vikings. The Chanticleers were not able to make up for their loss to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Ord still got an impressive performance from Payton Bruha, who had four digs and four aces.

Ord's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Lakeview, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3.

Ord wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Malcolm on the 4th. As for Lakeview, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Scotus on the 4th.
