Patrick County is a perfect 7-0 against Radford since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cougars will welcome the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. Neither Patrick County nor Radford posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

On Tuesday, Patrick County came up short against James River and fell 6-1. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Patrick County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Holt, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Andersen Brim also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Radford, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past Floyd County 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Radford's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8. As for Patrick County, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Patrick County got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Radford by a conclusive 10-0 score. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
