Basketball Recap: Minden Comes Up Short

Minden was the 36-12 winner over Loyola College Prep when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Crimson Tide took a 26-11 bruising from the Flyers on Wednesday.

Minden now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Loyola College Prep, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-7-1.

Loyola College Prep will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Calvary Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2026. Minden will be paying especially close attention to the Flyers' contest: after the Flyers face off against the Cavaliers, they'll take on Minden again at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
