Recap: Mulvane Wildcats vs. Wellington Crusaders

The Mulvane Wildcats and the Wellington Crusaders squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but sadly the Mulvane Wildcats had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 44-42. Mulvane was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Wellington apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Mulvane lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Manny Myers, who scored ten points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Mckee, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.

Mulvane's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7. As for Wellington, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7-2.

Mulvane does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wellington also has no future games currently scheduled.
