Portage Central's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Oxford Wildcats as they made off with an 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

With the victory, Portage Central broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-6. As for Oxford, they dropped their record down to 7-12-1 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Portage Central will challenge Portage Northern at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oxford, they will square off against Lake Orion at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Dragons will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
