Softball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

If Central was feeling good fresh off their 23-14 takedown of Jonesboro on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Charging Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for North Little Rock, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-12 record.

Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Little Rock, they are taking a road trip to square off against Maumelle at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
