Basketball Recap: Douglas County West Drops Highest Score of Season Against Palmyra

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Douglas County West). They took down the Palmyra Panthers 46-28 on Friday. The Falcon have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Douglas County West's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addison Strong led the charge by dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave Strong a new career-high in rebounds. Bella Zach was another key player, putting up ten points.

Douglas County West smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Douglas County West's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Palmyra, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
