Holy Name has gone a perfect 4-0 against Westlake recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. Holy Name will head out to challenge Westlake at 11:00 a.m. Holy Name will be strutting in after a win while Westlake will be coming in after a defeat.

If Holy Name beats Westlake with 15 runs on Saturday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Holy Name was the clear victor by a 15-4 margin over Normandy on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Green Wave have posted against the Invaders since May 1, 2019.

Reagan Vavro looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ava Posa, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Williams, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Westlake unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 16-4 to Padua Franciscan on Wednesday.

Westlake saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leni Salvator, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Kylie Colacarro was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

Holy Name took their win against Westlake when the teams last played back in May of 2023 by a conclusive 14-7. Does Holy Name have another victory up their sleeve, or will Westlake turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
