Softball Recap: Sacramento Takes a Loss

Sacramento lost to Woodland back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Dragons lost 24-5 to the Wolves. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sacramento's loss dropped their record down to 1-7-2. As for Woodland, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7.

Coming up, Sacramento will look to defend their home field on Friday against Rodriguez at 4:00 p.m. As for Woodland, they will challenge Natomas at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Nighthawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 20.13 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
