Basketball Recap: Christian Life Comes Up Short

Christian Life was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Christian Liberty Chargers, falling 65-42. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Christian Life's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Christian Liberty, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Christian Life will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Schaumburg Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025. Christian Liberty also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Mooseheart at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Christian Liberty has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three contests.
