Soccer Recap: Spruce Creek Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Spruce Creek was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Sandalwood Saints could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Brayan Godoy was the only thing that stood between Spruce Creek and a shutout considering he scored both of Spruce Creek's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

With that draw, Spruce Creek's record moves to 2-1-1. As for Sandalwood, they moved theirs to 2-0-2.

Looking ahead, Spruce Creek will host Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sandalwood, they will head out to face off against Clay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
