Volleyball Recap: Diller-Odell Comes Up Short

Diller-Odell lost against Johnson County Central back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Griffin lost 3-0 to the Thunderbirds. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Griffin have suffered since September 30th.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 25-5.

Madilyn Dendinger paced Diller-Odell's offense, picking up six kills. Dendinger got some help from Berkelee Beekman and her 13 assists. Beekman also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kailyn Dendinger, each putting up two.

Johnson County Central found their leader in sophomore Sophia Schmid, who had eight digs and three aces.

Diller-Odell's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Johnson County Central, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 28-0.

As of now, neither Diller-Odell nor the Thunderbirds have any future games scheduled.
