Volleyball Recap: Vallejo Comes Up Short

Vallejo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Pinole Valley Spartans, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in February.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-12, 25-21.

Vallejo's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Pinole Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Looking ahead, Vallejo will square off against Salesian College Preparatory at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pinole Valley, they will venture away from home to face off against Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
