Basketball Game Preview: Lake Blue Streaks vs. GlenOak Golden Eagles

The Lake Blue Streaks will venture away from home to face off against the GlenOak Golden Eagles at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 10.

On Saturday, Lake came up short against Wooster and fell 48-39.

Meanwhile, GlenOak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took an 83-69 bruising from Jackson. While losing is never fun, the Golden Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Polar Bears are ranked 48th).

GlenOak's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.

Lake came up short against GlenOak in their previous meeting back in January, falling 39-28. Can Lake avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
