Morro Bay Gets a Boost from Dougherty in 41-30 Loss
Starting off the list is Morro Bay's Sands Dougherty, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dougherty threw for 312 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76% of his passes, and also rushed for 81 yards. Blake Gregory was instrumental in extending Cabrillo's winning streak to six on Thursday. Gregory turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 231 yards and five touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes.
Cabrillo's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Gregory and Cabrillo will venture away from home to face off against Nipomo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tyler Cunningham produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Templeton to the win on Friday. Cunningham rushed for 184 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry.
Templeton now has a winning record of 4-3. Cunningham will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against San Luis Obispo on Friday.
