Football Recap: Mason Allen Leads Logos Prep Academy's Defense on Saturday

After losing to San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool the last time they met, Logos Prep Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lions were the clear victors by a 44-20 margin over San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Caleb Sedgwick was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 156 yards and two scores on only seven carries, and also threw for 83 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Grant Edelbrock was in the mix as well, providing Logos Prep Academy with two TDs.

Logos Prep Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Mason Allen, Sedgwick, and Gavin Doss picked up one apiece. Allen got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Logos Prep Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Logos Prep Academy has already played their next match, a 60-30 loss against Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool on the 19th. As for San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool, they will host Austin Royals HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. This will be San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
