It was a good run, but Tahlequah unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Memorial Chargers by a score of 3-2. Tahlequah were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Memorial apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2019.

Tahlequah's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-5. As for Memorial, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Tahlequah will challenge rival Booker T. Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Memorial is set to square off against their familiar foe Midwest City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
