Volleyball Recap: Eagle Pass Comes Up Short

Eagle Pass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Alexander Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14, 25-10.

Eagle Pass' loss dropped their record down to 3-25. As for Alexander, they are on a roll lately: they've won 22 of their last 23 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Eagle Pass is set to face off against their familiar foe United at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Alexander will challenge rival Laredo LBJ at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
