Football Recap: Morrison Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Morrison can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Rejoice Christian Eagles and fell 48-20. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Eagles are ranked 47th).

This is the second loss in a row for Morrison and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for Rejoice Christian, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Morrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rejoice Christian, they will take on Hooker at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games.
