St. Charles Catholic waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They never let the Willow Lions get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Comets have won eight matches by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Charles Catholic pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Willow, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Charles Catholic will challenge De La Salle at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. We've got a battle between Lions coming up.
