Volleyball Recap: Canon City's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Canon City had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They blew past the Palmer Terrors 3-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory on October 9th.

While Canon City won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 26-24, 25-16.

Canon City was led to victory by Raegen John and Sophie LeDoux. John had 19 digs and four aces, while LeDoux had 16 assists and nine digs. John has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last seven times she's played. Ellee Carr also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Canon City's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Palmer, they moved to 16-7 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

As of now, neither Canon City nor the Terrors have any future games scheduled.
